Currently, I have just finished my post-graduation from King’s College London in Data Science and covered subjects from data mining, machine learning to data technologies.

I finished my B Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2016 and my interest in data science and machine learning started from a project undertaken at the time based on speech signals and robust speaker recognition systems based on machine learning and prediction. Soon, it led me to an internship at IBM where I worked on various automation tasks and app development.

It culminated to a permanent position at IBM India where, I worked extensively, for two years, on various technologies related to data and its visualization. I contributed to building Natural Language Processing models, data pipelines and dashboards for the same.

After exploring my interest in data analysis, I took the decision of going back to academics for pursuing a post-graduate degree at King's College London. Data science, being an inter-disciplinary field, requires one to expand their horizons and analyze more diverse viewpoints.

After strengthening my theory and practices involved in data analytics, during my graduate studies, I am looking forward for working in the practical aspects of data, machine learning and artificial intelligence. In the present of digital and web-based world, immense amount of data is being generated per day and it is exponentially exploding. Estimates are around 2.5 quintillion bytes of data is produced per day and most of this data goes unexplored. It is a major challenge to separate meaningful signals from the noisy ones and I sincerely hope to contribute for the same.
