Good morning, I hope you are well, my name is Pedro Rodríguez and I am Spanish/London based designer with master degrees in Haute couture and Shoe design both of them at (UAL) Saint Martins in London. as well as a post- graduate diploma of context in fashion at (UPF) University Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.
Since 2013 I have been working in different positions As a Designer and Head of design.
Working with international leading brands across Spain and the UK, learning and applying those skills, for ex- ample:
*Networking with manufacturers and how to achieve final product within the time frame proposed. *Solving quickly and in the best way any problem during the manufacturing process.
*Learning from new processes and technology to achieve the most updated version for the collections. *Helping the team to achieve a coherent collection.
Using those skills in other positions helped the projects i was envolved with, at Ocean5 finding the technology to create a PET recycled canvas to use as an upper cut.
At Victoria Beckham making a small capsule collection of shoes and accessories, helping the business to establish a strong RTW accessories collection.
And of course other backgrounds which I have learned from the end of my studies.
As a designer I am seeking a new challenge, which will extend my design skills, in ways that push contemporary design thinking, as well as build on my international connections, and experience in manufacturing processes. Also I do not mind start from the beginning, that’s how my DNA as a designer gets more connection with the back- ground of a brand like yours.
I am passionate about precision and perfection in design, and seeking to manage a leading team within different departments to achieve successful outcomes.
