My experience
2013 - 2019
job
professor
In Mexico City.
I taught business English for two companies (Nerles and Wailt) instructing groups of learners at a variety of different institutions. I also set up an organisation called Power to the Speaker which aimed to offer young students of English affordable and practical language classes in the heart of the city. I am also edited and translated a book for the fantastic art project SEFT-1 and more recently I've been commissioned by institute Laboratorio de Arte Alamada to do general translations and edits. In 2015 I lived and worked in Juchitan, Oaxaca, organising cultural events and language classes at the Ecological forum there. Since mid-2015 into this current year I have been working for Britannica books, organising English workshops and writing my own online content. I also worked at the University of La Salle as a professor of English Language and Literature.

teacher
Oxford International Education Group.
London April 2013-June 2013
After completing my TESOL qualification in London, I was offered a teaching position at the same institution where I myself was trained. OIEG offers both free lessons to the community and paid lessons to English learners from around the world. I was involved in teaching a variety of classes composed of many different nationalities, ages and English language levels. I gained experience too in examining the different English levels of the numerous students who came to OIEG. I was also was involved in an evening class for advanced English learners who were studying for their English Proficiency Exams. I feel the experience I gained as a teacher in Korea was consolidated into a more concrete form at OIEG.

job
English Language teacher
English Language Center (ELC).
(Ulsan, South Korea) December 2011-December 2012
I worked for a year in a private language school in South Korea as an English Language teacher. I was the only native English-speaking teacher at ELC and therefore concentrated mainly on the students speaking and conversational skills, vocabulary and pronunciation. There were 200 students at ELC comprising of elementary and middle school children (aged from 5-16). I taught all the students at least four times a week giving 45-minute lessons. Therefore, I am highly capable of managing and building rapport with students, whilst delivering high quality Language lessons to small and large classes. One of my other duties at ELC was to teach the Korean English Language teachers who worked at the school, to further hone their own English.
