GeoBiz App is a location based networking app for travelling business people, and B2B trade shows. GeoBiz is a ground breaking smartphone application which allows you to connect with business people on the move, anywhere in the world. This business is now in the process of being acquired by a larger entity in the market.
Key Duties Involved & Achievements
• Launched a B2B app from scratch - Achieved 3000 downloads in the first two months of launch.
• Secured SEIS/EIS status.
• Building the concept of the app and researching the market.
• Designed all elements of the app visuals.
• Sourcing a supplier to develop the app.
• Marketing the app through social media, and some press channels. - Achieved industry award of "Best Emerging Technology Platform
• Promoting the app through networking events
• Pitching to investors.
• Managing the team of CTO, Marketing Director, and Non Executive Director, and the development team.
• Negotiating commercial contracts with partners, this lead to GeoBiz becoming the official networking app for UK Business Show, EuroBlech 2018 and Blech Expo 2017

• Contracts secured and completed - FIA Formula E World Championship all global rounds, Speciality and Fine Food Fair, IFE Show, Surface Design Show, The Game Fair (Formerly CLA Game Fair), The British Touring Car Championships, Fastener and Fixing Magazine, The Royal Windsor Horse Show, SCIN Gallery and Engineering Capacity Magazine.
• Managing a team of three other freelance sales people
• Reporting on sales to the clients
• Managing client relationships on both client and advertiser side
• Managing weekly reports with the sales team.
