Junior Software Developer
Iress.
After graduating from the previous role the company promoted me to a Junior Software Developer. I worked in the Client Implementations team and before this I previously worked in developing products for Mortgage, Sales and Originations. I took on more responsibility by becoming a feature owner, taking ownership of builds for various environments to ensure the successful deployment of code. I worked exclusively on XSL-FO's, configuration and adapters. I have built Windows Form's as part of an incentive to make BA's lives easier within my team. I work towards tight deadlines and deliver work that is current with today's technologies. On occasion I would carry out smoke testing for testers and user acceptance testing when tight deadlines are approaching.

internship
Software Test Analyst trainee
FDM Group.
This was an IT training graduate position. During my time at FDM I have learned to work in a busy environment as a member of a team whereby I would liaise and handle the demands within different departments carefully, such as being called in for meetings for prospective job roles whilst keeping up with the class work set out by the academy tutors. As a result of this I have shown I can demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and use of initiative whilst training with FDM. I had to ensure I was at the academy no later than 08:45 to ensure I was available to begin class at 09:00. If I had work to continue with I was allowed to stay back and work till the last tutor left which was usually between 20:00-21:00, otherwise I could not leave until the mandatory time of 17:30. This shows that I am willing to work hard in order to help the team. Whilst at FDM I gained the following experience:
• Developed SQL and Excel skills during the first few weeks of training.
• Introduced to the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Learned how to perform Manual testing.
• Agile Development Methodology.
• Introduced to Automated and Performance testing.
• Learned to use the Selenium IDE framework recording, editing and debugging tests.
• Learned to use Quick Test Professional to perform functional and regression testing.
