I'm offering
Imaginative | Engaged | Thorough
I'm a writer and content strategist, specialising in both visual and written storytelling and content.
Consultancy firms and startups rely on me to deliver high-quality editorial content: I nurture longterm relationships with my clients. I'm always looking to develop my skills in driven and communicative workplaces.
My superpower is to offer new ways of seeing, to offer new perspectives, to ensure my clients’ message is heard, and to show why it's important.
As evident in the 6 years I've spent studying, I have a well-nurtured affinity for research and learning - this carries into everything I do. With an MA in English Literature and five years of experience working with clients, it's safe to say I'm very good with words by now.
“Dorélia Evans is an excellent writer, who I have relied on to write editorial content for my company on several occasions. We are a technology-focused public relations firm, and the written work created was on behalf of our clients - often for publication in tech media publications. Standards need to be high, and I can rely on Dorélia to achieve these”, Ben Goldsmith, of Goldsmith Communications.

Dorélia Evans is a professional writer and content strategist, specialising in both visual and written storytelling.
With five years of experience working with a number of different clients across a variety of fields, covering architecture, design, technology, art, and construction, she's experienced a wide diversity of project-types, resulting in a similarly wide scope of experience. That every one of her clients regularly returns is a testament to the high quality of work she produces.
Alongside this work, Dorélia has been awarded a BA and an MA in English Literature from Queen Mary University — A top London University, and a member of the Russell Group. As evident by the six years of study undertaken, she has a love for both learning and researching. This inclination bleeds into her professional work and underpins her speciality: to offer new ways of seeing, to offer new perspectives, to ensure her clients’ message is heard, and to show why that message matters.
In addition to her written work, Dorelia also works closely with a graphic designer to deliver further tailored content, such as graphics, website design, infographics, and video editing services.

My experience
2019 - ?
freelance
Content Writer
B2B, startups, tech-focussed consultancy firms..
Over the last two years, I’ve written press releases and B2B content on behalf of the London Based Consultancy firm, Goldsmith Communications, as well as UK based and International Start-ups.
A few of the 2019/20 projects I’ve been invited to take part in:
Writing for Pay-fit - Last year wrote several pieces for the firm, including one on their ethos, thoughts on leadership and the on-boarding process. In February I was invited to write up an article with their CEO that appeared in that month's edition of Silicon Republic.
Content creation and writing for the Stockholm Cohort -
This saw me as a writer for the English translation of the presentation and press release for the 2019 Stockholm Cohort.

Content Creator and Writer
Pinta Investments.
I continue to work closely with the director of Pinta Investments. We’re a small team, and my tasks here are wide-reaching. I’m responsible for the writing and proof-reading of reports. These are for legal use and need to be delivered quickly while meeting a consistent and high standard of accuracy.
I also create newsletters and blog posts on behalf of the firm and carry out a content strategy and search engine optimisation(SEO).
In March this year, I oversaw the completion of a new website for the company. Along with creating graphics and a design language for the site I wrote and edited the written content. Through working on the aesthetic outlook of the site alongside developing the back-end Html (i.e.creating forms, adding tags and servers to increase traffic and build an SEO strategy), I improved the user experience and functionality of the site. This has led to an uptick in client interest and traffic to the site.

Photographer, Website design and Social Media
I have a photography business that I am currently growing. This is about a month into production, though I've been taking photos for the last 4 years, and my images are getting attention on Instagram and cultivating interest from galleries and magazines. I've built a website using Squarespace, that also has a blog with recent think-pieces and writing on photography and the arts.
I have experience using the business account settings and promotions on Instagram and being socially engaged with what is current in the world, whether this is in photography, culture, and the arts or political and social trends via this platform.
