I’m a professional and freelance copy editor with experience editing fiction and creative non-fiction, print magazines, websites, adverts, and promotional material. I recently completed an MA in Creative Writing MA at Birkbeck University, a degree I’m proud to add to a growing pile of impractical qualifications that already includes a BM in Flute Performance and an MA in Ethnomusicology.
I write fiction stories, which have been published and am currently working on my first novel. I am also a music journalist, writing mainly as the Deputy Editor of Songlines, the leading world music magazine based in London, UK. My journalism has also appeared in several other publications including the Guardian blog, Wanderlust magazine and Paa Tanzania.
