Senior Director Global Program Management
Implementation of a Global sustainability program for a range of electronic consumer products with prime responsibility for the Project Management deliverables and Customer Account Management.
• Achieved recycling and reuse rates of 85% in 6 months to eliminating landfill and incineration
• Established a reverse supply chain to two regional sites (Japan and Hungary) of electronic waste product, complying to Local, Regional, Basel and OECD waste transportation regulations.
• Brown field set up of regional operational sites employing more than 250 people globally
• Certification of sites to WEEELABEX compliance

The SPL (Spare parts logistics)
• An internally developed tool set that made twelve internal legacy applications redundant
• Created a single scalable and repeatable platform for all current and future SPL customer programs
• Increasing the customer confidence in the information and execution of the programs
• Enabled 98% parts availability with 50% improvement in inventory turns.
Channel connect
• Improving the forward logistics performance to customer distribution channels and markets. Products are shipped from multiple sources through the merge centre and x-docked for transportation to the final destination. 100% of HP and Lenovo European laptop products were handled in Flextronics Venray and the improvement in freight utilisation through consolidation of the various supply sources resulted in greater than 10% freight savings. Transparency of all material in the supply chain was also made available through a combination of data from the fully integrated Transportation and Warehouse management
Global parts planning
• Transformation in the methodology to plan both the supply and the demand of components in FGS
• Introduction and use of Kinaxis in planning the supply of material in a single tool
• Elimination of offline (mainly excel) tools
• Major savings in the purchase of new material and reduction of scrap through an increase in component repair and reutilisation
• Increased the integrity and accuracy of demand planning with a newly developed tool that aligns component demand to statistically defined product lifecycle curves
