Engineering Lead
Habito.
As an Engineering lead at Habito I was directly managing up to 5 people and was responsible for the deliver of smaller and bigger projects that my team took on. I was actively working with Product Managers to understand the requirements of the projects and was very hands on working with my team to deliver the work. The most notable project we took on was delivering a Life Insurance offering for our customers. It required a lot of coordination with our partner companies and some integration with them to get it done.

2015 - 2017
job
Senior Software Engineer
Habito.
I joined Habito as a Senior Software Engineer early on when we were a total of 5 people and started contributing toward the delivery of our very first MVP of the product. I worked across the stack, backend (Haskell), front-end (Typescript then Purescript) and was the main contributor to our DevOps and Infrastructure solution. We deployed our software to AWS Elastic beanstalk using Docker and later on we hit scalability issues with it and migrated to Kubernetes. As we started needing to grow the engineering team I was helping with recruitment and onboarding of new team members as well.

We used perforce for version control and Jenkins for continuous deployment.
