I'm offering
I’m a thinker and doer with a communications career spanning banking, consultancy and sustainability. It's an unusual combination but has given me quite a unique perspective.
Having worked in some global fast-paced businesses over the years, I don’t mind a deadline or a tricky stakeholder. I’ve done internal and external communication; led communications for complex or sensitive change programmes; run small and large events; thought about and put in place communication plans and ideas; and all sorts in between.
I’m not afraid of asking difficult questions so I can understand my clients problems. This way I can make sure that anything I propose is going to make a real difference.
I like to think of myself as a straight talker and make sure my work reflects this. No fluff, no garbage and in most cases, less is definitely more when you’re talking to your people.
I’m currently helping the UK bit of a global professional services business articulate their sustainability story and before this helped a UK energy firm develop a business case for a new intranet.

job
Migration Communications Lead
TSB Bank.
● Communications lead on TSB's IT migration programme to 8,500 employees. The programme involved moving five million customers from the Lloyds Banking platform to a bespoke Sabadell banking platform.
● Business Partnering TSB's COO, I was responsible for developing the communications plan and runway of activity. We launched a new intranet site to inform employees what was happening, when. Content included an interactive timeline to an engaging 'bee' video to simply bring the complex but crucial stage of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to life.
● I ran executive brainstorming sessions to develop the overall story and proof points as well as having a fortnightly 1-2-1 with the COO on the migration editorial plan.
● Working across the programme my team identified all the potential impacts of migration and launched an online interactive employee journey to visually show what was happening to specific groups of people. 100% of managers said this was a useful toolkit to help them talk to their teams.
● I regularly chaired a fortnightly Exec Steering to keep the senior team up to date on progress; advising on our approach and providing feedback on key milestones.
● Through our communications we increased employee confidence that 'Sabadell and the migration is better for TSB's future' by 10%.
● Awarded 'Pioneer' rating in my last performance review (the top rating).
