Working within media research, my role focuses on social and online news media research. I manage a portfolio of international clients (£500k+) across varying industries including; Phillip Morris, Google & Nestle. I am responsible for the functional day to day management of a team of 4 in addition to 3rd party freelancers dependent on project resourcing requirements. After 6 months in my role I was nominated by senior management to participate on the "Kantar Accelerator Programme". My role is varied in nature and includes the below tasks;
● Project managing social and digital media research for clients, accountable for research design, analysis and final project delivery
● Acting as the day-to-day point of contact for all major client queries and as an escalation point within the team
● Analyse large data sets of online news, social media and print data to develop actionable insights and recommendations for the client.
● Directly present reports to clients and key internal stakeholders for a variety of departments within the client's business including R&D, Corporate Communications, PR & Marketing.
● Responsible for the renewal of current clients as well as the on-boarding of new clients. This includes the scoping of new client briefs and cross-selling of additional services.
● As part of the "Kantar Accelerator Programme" I have spent time understanding other operating brands under the Kantar umbrella including; TNS, Consulting & WorldPanel giving me a holistic understanding of the business as a whole and creating more cross selling opportunities.
● Passionate about diversity & inclusion initiatives at Kantar and am currently a Mental Health Ambassador for my team.
