• I worked at the eBay UK headquarters as a member of the European content team. My role within the content team focused on relaying information to the customer in adherence with eBay's marketing strategy.
• In this position, I developed an understanding of the customer through the evaluation of feedback, and then, in turn, applied this knowledge to the content produced.
• The most notable project I was involved in was that of producing the content for the newly formatted eBay Baby that has now become an integral part of the eBay enterprise.
• I was able to participate in several workshops abroad in Berlin and Zurich. This furthered my understanding of the processes of global business.
• In addition to my work on content and marketing, I was involved in the initial stage of recruitment of freelance writers for the eBay Baby project.
• As well as being part of a dynamic, influential team within the company I was given the opportunity to gain insight into other aspects of the company through spending time in the PayPal offices, a subsidiary of eBay.
