Outreach Executive
Smart Works.
• Smart Works is a women's charity with five hubs across the UK and one new one to be opening this year in Newcastle. I was instrumental in creating a brand new strategy, which involved conducting a targeted outreach project, which upon completion at the end of August, resulted in the creation of a board of Trustees for the new Newcastle branch.
• I used Google Analytics and social media analytics tools, such as Simple Measured to aid the Partnership and Marketing Manager, with her analysis of Smart Works and help create content to engage existing and new supporters of the charity.
• After analysing the monthly data, using a CRM software package, and noticing the gaps in certain groups, I was tasked with conducting a new outreach programme in order to ensure that Smart Works reached the monthly client targets and increased its accessibility to marginalised groups, specifically those with mental health issues. Upon leaving, I had created new relationships with over 25 new organisations, including numerous 'Mind' charities in London, and set up a partnership with the leading IPS provider in London.
• Aside from these tasks, I provided administrative and client support to the team, ensuring that our clients continually felt supported throughout their time with us.

freelance
Consultant
Situzen.
• The work that I have undertaken for Allanna McAspurn involved helping to research and put together her presentation on Sustainability and the Butterfly Defect for the China Fashion Forum. It drew upon innovative initiatives from brands such as as Levi and their 'no water' jeans, highlighting the positive ripple effect that a move like that can have across the supply chain.
• Further to this, I supported Mrs McAspurn in the first stages of creating a new digital platform. This involved conducting both primary and secondary research on online forums.
• It was necessary to start with secondary research on other online forums, the competing software used to create them and other operational factors such as costs of running a platform.
• Once I had completed in depth background research, Mrs McAspurn and I formulated a strategy to gauge demand, piloting a survey with ten women and eventually sending it out to over 200 women. We wanted to gain a comprehensive understanding of the demographics of our target audience, their thoughts on using an online platforms and specific questions regarding the topic of the digital platform.
