Leadership role with a focus on internal efficiency improvements as well as client facing work in relation to advising on R&D tax credits, data manipulation, project management and financial modelling for a range of clients from small start-ups to leading multi-national companies. My work generally involved working directly with the managing partner as well as, to varying degrees, with the remaining partners and client directors in the company.
Internal work
• Developed 'Know Your Client' ("KYC") database in Microsoft Access which integrated controls for risk assessment, client due diligence and authority to accept appointment. This also linked directly to our client management database ("CCH Central") and updated fields within this as steps were completed.
• Developed employee booking system in Microsoft Access, linking directly to CCH Central's 'Employee Planner'.
• Developed 'debtor database' in Microsoft Access to aid our finance department to track client debts, keep notes, run client statement reports and find specific invoice fee amounts/outstanding debts.
• Provided training sessions for all employees in relation to all relevant Office 365 products, CCH Central, various databases and general IT training.
• Identification of affected clients in relation to HMRC's Making Tax Digital implementation and organising relevant bespoke information packs which were sent out by client managers using mail merge via Microsoft Excel and Word. This also linked directly to CCH Central.
• Employee performance analysis in Microsoft Excel using data linked directly from CCH Central timesheets and manipulated into a relevant format for team leaders to use for ongoing performance reviews and bi-annual appraisals.
• Semi-automation of engagement letter creation for corporate clients using the integration of Microsoft Excel and Word's mail merge fields.
• Researched and coordinated the migration of various HR components from paper-based system to online platform.
• Training, coordination and migration of internal communications to Microsoft Teams.

• Large project in relation to a probate dispute - management of the organising of 10 years worth of data and the preparation of trust accounts to be used in the resolution of the dispute in the UK court system. Here I worked directly with the trust's solicitors.
