This was a high-pressure role in an extremely busy office environment, which requires exceptional organizational skills, an ability to prioritize and consistent attention to detail.
My role also encompassed " front of house" duties: meeting & greeting clients, screening calls, taking and passing on messages, stationary ordering, arranging couriers, distributing post and updating, collating and distributing CVs, headshots, show and voiceover reels, talking to directors, producers, clients and casting professionals.
I had a busy and demanding role that required a high level of organization and initiative as well as an excellent telephone manner.
Day to day tasks included co-coordinating diaries, setting agendas, taking and distributing highly confidential minutes, liaising with agents, directors, producers and actors.
I was also responsible for collating and distributing contracts, keeping stationary and library cupboards well stocked with the most popular and up to date releases, ordering and distributing complementary copies of new releases, answering queries from the public and assisting the Programming Executives in all aspects of the day to day project management of DVD production.
Day to day tasks included, fielding all calls, distributing post, writing reports, updating databases, distributing contracts as well as many ad hoc administrative duties for the companies in the building.
I also assisted the sales team with introducing prospective clients as well welcoming new clients into the building and generally providing the public face and voice of the business.
