• RioTinto Iron Ore Guinea West Africa - To help implement/ coach the basic lean tools to all members
of staff to ensure when moving towards a mining situation all employees are prepared. To also help
align top management objectives to ensure short term and long-term objectives are achieved.
• SKF Sweden - To develop all training material and to coach all lean experts on the material with the development of their own lean game to help train their staff worldwide.
• Caterpillar USA - Through the Value Stream mapping process areas of concerns were highlighted for
improvement and the lean techniques used varied from 5s, standardised work, TPM and kanban
system implementation.
• Riotinto Alcan Australia, Canada and UK - Implementation and coaching of lean tools to all levels of the business, also undertaking a streamlining event in the accounts department.
• Auto Restore - To develop targets and set KPI's for the call centre staff and to help develop the logistical movements to eliminate waste.
• Virgin Airlines - To help implement their TPM system to reduce airplane turnaround time while in for
maintenance.
• BHP Billiton- To revamp and energise their current Lean project.
• Johnson Matthey- Full lean immersion starting with the blue sky leading to the master schedule and
value stream mapping of the process to then find the values hitters and bottle necks of the organisation to implement lean techniques.
• CET - Full Lean implementation through all divisions to delivery productivity and cost targets
• Haven Power - Controlled productivity improvements to offset next financial year FTE recruitment to save +/- £250k pa.
