Developing extensive in-house solutions, I have managed events for clients in the UK, Ireland, Europe and the US and built its reputation on its ability to grow interest, interaction and attendance for a number of projects,
initiatives and events.
Going beyond the provision of event management, I developed websites and marketing solutions for clients whilst
providing business and strategic support as an external and development driven supplier.
Managing two large scale conferences and exhibitions in the US for more than 700 attendees, 40 exhibitors and multiple sponsors; taking on the development of sponsor packages, exhibition management, delegate registration and payment along with venue and supplier liaison. I also managed over 50 training events across the US, Ireland
and the UK for an architectural, building and tradesperson training company.

In August 2007 I received promotion to Team Manager for the Expotel Events team. I was directly responsible for
seven members of staff consisting of three Senior Event Consultants, two Event Co-ordinators and two Event
Consultants. My primary duties include the monitoring of business, performance appraisals and assessments,
management of key clients, customer complaints as well as addressing individual and team issues in accordance with company policy. I am responsible for the formulation and implementation of current training and development
programs and the developing of standard training practices having compiled training manuals for team
consultants.
I was targeted with developing business across the department by playing an integral part in company marketing
and visibility. This includes the creation and implementation of new processes from both an operational and a client and supplier facing perspective for the continued growth and improvement of services.
This also includes the completion of business tender applications as well as creating and distributing marketing
materials, such as e-flyers and brochures and writing articles for industry magazines and papers. I am actively
involved in the developing and maintaining of client and supplier relationships.
I was also tasked with project managing the design and delivery of a bespoke, web based business management
tool incorporating supplier and client interfaces. Whilst working to strict commercial, operations and IT
expectations and deadlines I constructed communication and project plans to ensure a successful integration of the tool in accordance with departmental services, policies and procedures with regular contact with key
stakeholders being of utmost importance. Further to my duties as Team Manager I maintain many of my former
duties as Senior Events Consultant.
