Brought in to the company to develop a new BI department and re-vitalise the delivery of BI across the business. This has meant recruitment of a new team with the correct skills to deliver the required reporting. Design and development of the new reporting systems from the design of the new data structures to the front-end visualisations.
I have re-design the way that we deliver information for the business changing the way that the CEO and board view BI reporting, ensuring they fully understand the benefits that the approach can deliver. I have worked closely with the CEO, CFO and IT teams to ensure that I have delivered in support of the continued growth of the business, developing new reports to track the corporate 5-year plan.
I have grown the team from 2 developers to the current team of 4 senior analysts, 4 analysts and 2 new apprentices on a program to develop the next generation of analysts. I also work across many other teams within the business from IT, operations and sales and marketing, Senior leadership team and Executive management.
In the time I have been in the company I have made fundamental changes to both the data that we have been reporting on and the way that we report on it, but also expanding the types and areas of data available for us to analyse and help increase transparency and growth within the wider business. I have also worked closely with the new COO to re-instate reports after a major Cyber incident caused the business to lose all reporting systems. We recovered our reporting and where back supporting the business days after the incident, instigating a new solution in a very tight deadline.
