Carl is a highly experienced technical leader who can assist with technical and business strategy as well as product design and delivery. He has worked in numerous industries during his time as a consultant and delivered multiple projects ranging from 1 million to 5 million pounds. Carl has also transformed engineering processes to make teams more efficient in addition to creating a transparent and radically honest culture which has proven to increase staff morale and in turn team productivity.

Most recently he is delivered a fully automated cloud based container orchestration platform. This transformed a large Enterprise from zero cloud presence to running production applications, with BAU support in under 9 months, for around £5 Million. This transformation also required modifying the business’s processes to enable the technology delivery. He implemented an agile process to enable the business to realise value from the new technology incrementally rather than the traditional project management processes that meant the business did not realise any value until 3 years after the project kick-off date.

Previous to this he implemented a DevOps process in an enterprise in order to speed up the delivery of a project that was behind schedule.

On a project previous to this Carl assisted a start-up organisation by leading the delivery of a big data platform in the Cloud. This platform was designed to assist organisations in making more sense of their data. This project cost £1,000,000 and involved architecting the platform as well as leading a cross functional team of data scientists and engineers.
