I'm offering
As a creative individual with strong audio producer skills, I have years of experience creating audio content for books, podcasts, dramas, content for festivals and advertising campaigns. I know what is required when you have direct contact with established artists, high profile industry members as well as logistical partners, stakeholders etc. I have learnt to think one step ahead and understand how to support, encourage and communicate with a wide range of people.
My time as a voiceover agent working with high profile comedians and performers means I have knowledge of the scope of talent available for content and believe in constantly seeking new talent and pushing boundaries. Creating diverse, voiced content, inclusive and appealing to all ages.
At Audible I have been contributing to the concept and development of established audio content & the creation of new content as a self sufficient producer, formatting and guiding all pre & post production processes even voicing marketing content for radio adverts. I have been project lead across, the definitive Dickens/ HG Wells collection, Audio dramas, audio documentaries, comedy podcasts, original collections of short stories and Audibles top marquee titles. I was asked to be project lead & casting director in an original collection due to my knowledge of folk tales. As part of a team I created ideas around the formatting of the stories, suggesting short interviews with the writers and the commissioner. I co-produced a comedy podcast, casting and brokering all deals with artists US/UK based.
As the Media Liaison officer at Greenbelt Festival, one part of my role was to MC the live studio space, and to interview stars of the festival, I am used to being on and off camera. I was in charge of the media team creating short form content for the festivals marketing purposes, and came up with a creative theme for our speakers to base talks on.
I have a good track record of developing and making roles my own. As a voiceover producer I worked across a range of commercial advertising products such as adapting US masters of brands for International markets. I single handily sourced sound studios across Africa and increased profits by 80% for clients. As an agent I was regularly working with International suppliers, eventually creating my own International artist section which I managed.
Outside of work I am a traditional storyteller, this knowledge of story would be a huge benefit in a work context. I perform regularly as a voiceover artist and sing in choirs. I regularly attend premieres for theatre shows, west end and grassroots, support artists I used to manage at groundbreaking comedy nights (the Moth club), teach yoga, Personally I have interests in understanding history & how it impacts our current world and sustainability, all of this influences my work.
