An IT professional with 30 years experience, most recently in the role of Business Analyst. In this role, I am entrusted with writing and reviewing detailed business and technical documents to ensure the success of multi-million pound projects. This means that I have developed many of the skills required of a copy-editor/proofreader and I am looking to transition from IT into a career in publishing utilising these skills.

I have a reputation for thoroughness and accuracy, with an eye for detail, and have the rigour and application to review and find errors in long and complex manuscripts, specialising in the business and computer field of publishing.

Currently working as a freelance contractor on a part-time basis, with the ability to work from home, I have the flexibility to now accept copy-editing and proofreading opportunities.
