Need For Speed
EA Games.
I had the pleasure of working on this project with iamgraphicartist (Miguel Rato). The team behind Need For Speed wanted an eye-catching and exciting piece to use as an internal branding piece. The video needed to capture the traditional quality of a Need For Speed game but with a fresh and alternative style.
My role was to create the text for the voiceover. This was done prior to the creation of the visuals which gave me a lot of scope for where to go with it. I wanted something that worked as a rousing call to arms and after a couple of feedback sessions with EA we settled on the final text.

Hankook - Driving Emotion
Hankook.
Hankook were looking for a fun, vibrant animated video to capture their vision of the future of transport. The brief also required tying in their links to Real Madrid F.C. I worked with Pedro Allevato, a motion designer, on creating a simple but exciting piece capturing Hankook's vision via a group of young footballers on their way to training.
The project was run through BBC Stories with our interactions being both with BBC and Hankook directly.

Stutter
Stutter is a collaboration with the visual motion designer Pedro Allevato. The idea behind Stutter was to capture the mental and emotional journey of growing up with a speech impediment. I began by writing a piece on my own personal experiences of this and worked with Pedro to make the script into something which would work as a narration to a visual piece. Pedro brought his unique style to the composition, marrying the script to dark and dream-like visual metaphors that blend from one scene to the next.
Oleg Shushkanov came on board and worked on creating a soundtrack that beautifully captured the anxiety and drama of the visuals and voice-over.
Stutter has been selected to be shown at several international film festivals. It made it's world premiere at ANIMFEST 2017 and had it's UK premiere at Short-sighted Cinema's The Shortest Nights.

The Wine Superhero

I worked with the great folks at NuccoBrain on helping wine expert Barry Dick to rebrand himself in a unique and fun way. Barry wanted to set himself apart from the typical image of wine experts to give him an edge in the market.
I spent time with Barry talking about his vision for this. As the brand in this case was Barry himself it was important that we landed on a style and direction that he was comfortable with and that he felt represented his qualities and personality.
