This was a 7-month research program, where I worked with a small team of developers and researchers. During the program, I implemented, tested and validated the General Chord Type algorithm (a system for automatic harmonisation) using Python. I also designed, implemented and validated the Directional Interval Class algorithm (a tool for measuring the harmonic distance between two chords in a musical piece) in Python. Towards the end of the project, I utilized dimensional reduction and data visualization methods.
