I have been able to help subtitlers to translate Hindi, Bengali and Urdu into English during my stint of eight years in ITFC. Language interpretation is not word to word translation but to put the words in correct context.
During my time at Sony entertainment I have written a lot of synopsis of Asian television for Sky and Axiom.The Hindi programs and films had to be explained in detail so that the correct genre ads could be placed for the best business.
I have worked with Interpreting companies Silent Sounds and Prime productions and have successfully handled cases of mental health, domestic violence, Child custody, council cases of Housing and court cases.
I have volunteered with the RNIB and have handled telephone interviews of the clients in their choice of audio described books.
I am very passionate languages therefore I read a lot, I love to do nature rambles,swim ,watch theatre plus films.
