I studied Fashion design and technology with French at Manchester Metropolitan University. I simply adore the fashion industry as it’s always fast paced and constantly evolving, I’m constantly checking trends and do my own trend forecasting for next seasons, I like to follow inspiring accounts on Instagram and take ideas from these. My goal in life is to eventually achieve my own success in the fashion world under my own label as a fashion designer and have my garments affordable, ethically sourced and environmentally friendly and available to the public. I know my goal is set very high but I am very determined to reach it and know it will take a lot of hard work and effort. I enjoy making my own products such as cushions, dresses, jackets & t-shirts in my free time. I would love to have my own stall on Netil market & have a successful account and work my way up from there- humble beginnings! I’m a sponge and love to learn from working hard and being attentive to my superiors.
I currently work for Tommy Hilfiger as Visual Merchandising Manager Europe Retail & SIS –Global HQ, Which involves managing a team of 3 Visual coordinators and overseeing Europe , providing them with key information and making sure the brand messages are adhered to throughout the seasons with scheduled visits/sign off tours/ communicating to European VM teams on a monthly basis as well as managing my direct team I deal with HR/daily meetings/conference calls/ Scheduling visit/Store concept revising/ Developing guidelines/Shoots. I love working as a Visual Merchandiser, so far I’ve had an incredible journey. I was the first VM for the account SDI and have initiated: guides, training programmes, mannequin spreadsheets, plans and delivery bay guides. I have really enjoyed the challenge every step of the way. I loved the role as I got to travel up and down the country and Europe visiting Nike areas in Sport direct stores working the spaces and training staff. I was a DRIVER for training within Nike as I enforced it within the Sports direct stores within Europe, the driving team consists of 4 and drove training with Nike in Western Europe which was a massive compliment.
