As an editor I currently work at the Guardian on the sport, G2, magazine and comment desks. I have a lot of previous experience working on domestic and world news, features, business news and more for the Independent, the Herald and Sunday Herald in Scotland and a host of other publications.
As a writer I concentrate mainly on travel, electronic music and world affairs, though I have written about just about every topic imaginable at some time or other. I am also a copywriter working with a variety of clients on press releases, web content and the like.
