I started my career 25 years ago and it has been a tremendous journey, I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I have had the opportunity to work with very sizeable, global organizations and I have been the first person through the door in start-ups.

I have had the daunting challenge of 400,000 colleagues and the equally daunting challenge of having just one colleague. I have started companies, I have helped fund companies and I have sold companies.

From a ‘sector’ perspective, I have also been fortunate, having worked across a fascinating range of vertical sectors, including automotive; financial services; travel and hospitality; technology; telecoms; trade; property; consulting; advertising and retail.

During this time, I have held fairly senior roles, many at C level, and I have packed boxes in a warehouse.

My work has also included significant travel, both working and living in Europe, South Africa and the US. I have ventured far and wide during this time, experiencing all manner of cultures and business practices.

I have met, collaborated with and learned from many talented people.

Whilst I remain active in a couple of organisations, I am excited about the opportunity to undertake challenging and rewarding freelance positions where I can add real value and hopefully make a difference. This can also help me work with talented and ambitious people as well as satisfy my passion for people and businesses, specifically wanting to make people and businesses the best they can be.

From a sales perspective, I have over 25 years B2B/B2C sales experience at the most senior level, and have achieved in excess of £100m in revenue sales throughout my career with triple digit growth. I have built Partner teams and had significant success in Channel Sales.

I have recruited sales teams, trained sales teams and motivated sales teams to great success. I have created Account Planning processes, in-conjunction with Salesforce, and I have developed and implemented many sales strategies and processes. I have created and implemented successful sales motivation and incentive programs.

From a marketing perspective, I have created and grown many successful brands, most often from the ground up, involving often smaller budgets and a very hands on approach.

From a consultative and agency perspective, my marketing experience spans over 100 global companies across all marketing disciplines. I have implemented numerous successful campaigns significantly increasing market reach and share.

I am a passionate leader, inspiring great commitment and loyalty from those that I lead, both internally and externally.

I am results orientated and have a track record of taking a number of organisations, including Digital Impact, Engage and Zinc Software Inc, through sustained periods of profitable growth and expansion.

My earlier 'agency and consulting' background ensures that I am used to work in a creative and challenging environment, with the need to be agile and flexible, demonstrate original thinking, lead from the front and inspire colleagues and customers alike.
