Barley House Agency - Marketing
Responsible for developing B2B Marketing strategies for each business and to implement marketing plans for the group. Implementing improved brand strategy and positioning together with clear marketing objectives and integrated marketing plans that increase business success and profitability. We have also launched a new CRM system and digital platforms to effectively manage customer information and marketing activity.
Barley House Agency - Account Director
Working alongside the Creative Director, we have created a new brand and business strategy to re-position it as an integrated creative agency. Within eight months we created a whole new agency model which included: targeting strategies, new brand strategy/positioning with guidelines, clever marketing campaigns, a suite of new products to include client brand workshops, new business pitch processes, agency work flows, new internal environments, digital and social media strategies, training/appraisal programmes for staff and financial forecasting with measurement tools. I have spent the last year leading the agency at board level with responsibilities covering marketing, client services, planning and positioning.
I also manage the client services process nurturing leads, winning clients and delivering marketing services within a range of sectors including IT, pharmaceutical, property, mobile communications and education.

This project gave me the opportunity to work on a luxury brand, it was important that Allan and Bertram remained true to its business model of producing the fines calendars in the world.
Allan and Bertram is a successful luxury producer of promotional calendars but had no marketing strategy or plan developed to ensure it remained successful and ahead of its competitors. They had modernised their brand to move with changes in the market and it did not represent the level of luxury produced within the product, thus creating a brand perception gap. There were no marketing objectives and consistent marketing to create brand awareness and grow sales.
A complete audit was completed to produce a marketing and project plan of actions to address these problems. As part of this work a new brand strategy, with positioning, was developed together with a renewed brand identity which was relevant to its brand values and marketplace.
All marketing communications and media channels were updated including a new website, created leads with sales funnel process, all sales collateral, social media strategies, email marketing, and customer retention programme.
