I worked as a journalist for broadsheet British newspapers as well as a magazine editor. I then worked as a communications executive for charities and NGO and created and carried out campaigns using innovative ideas, planning and my nose for a great story. I liaised regularly with journalists and politicians to push forward campaigns. I also have experience with organising events and with NGO fundraising.

I have been a freelance journalist since my early twenties, writing for The Guardian, The Observer, The Independent, Evening Standard, Vogue, The Sunday Times, Elle and Elle Decoration. I have worked as a editor in the contract publishing house Redwood Publishing and for Editorial Intelligence, the event and networking organisation.

For the last six years I have worked as the Communications Executive for Women for Refugee Women and worked on the strategy and execution of the campaign 'Set Her Free'. I have recently been to Sierra Leone to work as a Communications Adviser for a small NGO providing health care for women and girls.

I have written a novel 'The Henry Experiment' which was dramatised by the BBC in 2015. I am currently writing my second novel ' The Guides' after a year travelling in India and South East Asia. First draft to be finished soon I hope.
