As a DevOps Engineer Lead in IProov, I work in multi cloud environment where I manage infrastructure, define monitoring and alerting and set up DevOps best practices in deployment, security and automation and mentor 4 other devops engineer alongwith distributing tasks and manage the team. In my previous role as a DevOps Engineer in Accenture while working for Banking Domain initially, my responsibilities were to setup DevOps Environment for Development and Testing Environment. These setups were done on Google Cloud Platform. Terraform was used for Infrastructure as Code and Ansible & Packer to create and manage AMI and its configuration. In my current project for Government, for a new application I am leading a team of 4 people to setup Development and Testing environment which requires Terraform as code for Infrastructure, packer to create AMI, Ansible for configuration management. Jenkins for Job Pipeline while Prometheus is used for Monitoring. Amazon, my responsibilities varies from understanding different services running for smooth logistics and supporting its elated issues based on severity. I am also responsible for automated release and build using AWS CodePipeline/Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild and logging and monitoring using AWS CloudWatch. With help of automation brought down number of customer tickets from average ~110 Tickets week to ~60 Tickets per week. As a senior member in team, responsibilities also includes grooming my colleagues, pitching news ideas for better workflow and automation of daily tasks as well as not restricted to dealing with tickets as much automated way as possible. As an Application Support Analyst in JP Morgan Chase, my major responsibilities include Application Development which includes developing unified scripts for start stop to web development as a single place to access different functions of daily BAU to Application Support ranging from start check of applications to find out defect in process flow of applications. My role in Capgemini was Associate Consultant and had responsibility primarily for creating automated status reports for all the services running on different hosts and sending these reports via Email to different responsible teams. Same data to be displayed on CGI as front end webpage. Resolving different tickets coming through Service Now related with codes and day to day business work. My previous role was as Team Member of SBI Bank and as a part of SBI -Systems Team responsible for development of utilities to support the main project of core banking at SBI.
