I'm Luca - a leadership consultant, accredited coach and the founder of an award-winning leadership consultancy.
One of my core beliefs is that “to be a consultant one needs to know what it means to be a leader”. As a business founder/owner I’ve been exposed to many leadership challenges myself: e.g. recruiting and coaching team members, having difficult conversations and managing performance, making business decisions and anticipating future challenges, building professional networks, etc.
I complemented this business experience with a deep interest in human dynamics, the human mind and how organisations can realise human potential. Completing a Master’s degree in Organisation Behaviour as well as an advanced practitioner diploma in Executive Coaching provided me with established theory, new insights and a space to practice.
As a consultant and coach, one of the areas I thrive the most in is in building relationships. You would have heard this many times before, however I hold dear the view that when it comes to consulting or coaching, “it’s all about the relationship”. My approach to working with stakeholders is collaborative, warm and focused on performance. Good consulting for me starts with understanding the clients’ context, building a trust-based relationship, and striving to produce new ideas for actions.
Some of the projects I have contributed to recently include: project managing a leadership development intervention for future leaders of a large healthcare organisation; partnering with the leadership team of a NFP to help them bring lasting change to the organisation; and
co-facilitating a series of virtual group coaching sessions.
