I'm offering
I have multiple degrees in Italian, French, Business Studies and International Development, with a four year career in events, specifically small scale community events and large music festivals. Working in a two person team, I have developed skills and experience across all aspects of the business, in particular focusing on copy writing and editing, social media, stakeholder partnerships and development, as well as end to end project management.
In addition to this, I also run my own Instagram account focusing specifically on writing reviews for books, which has allowed me to develop my graphics creation branding via Canva, working in partnership with publishers and other content creators and identify copywriting issues and write concise reviews that are engaging and informative.
Talking to people about things I enjoy and believe in, whether that be events, books or products and finding new and creative ways to do this is something that I enjoy most.

Big Hand Events and Media.
Project Manager
In April 2021 I became an employee of Big Hand Events and Media, the firm which managed both I Love Clarkston and All About

before becoming part of the seasonal event staff for both TRNSMT at Glasgow Green and Glasgow Summer Sessions at Bellahouston Park.
I began my role during the summer festival season as the Event Office Assistant Manager, before quickly taking on the additional
role of Signage Co-ordinator. The former required me to work alongside the Event Office Manager, whereby I oversaw the event interns and their daily tasks. Additionally, I provided support to the event manager and event office, plus any other
departments, with a variety of tasks. Working as Signage Co-ordinator required me to liaise with the event manager, site manager,
health & safety and installation teams to identify the needs and coordinate installations, whilst also working with suppliers and the finance department to ensure these requirements were fulfilled on time and on budget.
In addition to these roles, I also worked in the Joint Agency Command Centre during Glasgow Summer Sessions logging incidents as they happened and passing information and action requests on to the relevant people and departments to rectify these issues.
I also worked as a Gate Manager during Florence + the Machine at Edinburgh Summer Sessions, ensuring security was performing
