I'm offering
I’ve worked in community development, user research, community engagement, service design and project management for over fifteen years.
Due to my research-based way of working, my style of project management is agile, fact-driven and innovative. I have experience working in an environment with many projects running simultaneously and am effective at communicating with project and technical staff at all levels in order to achieve the best outcome for all. All my work has relied on working in collaboration with many stakeholders to share information and resources in order to achieve the best outcome.
Training as a designer and specialising in user design research methodology means the work I carry out is carefully considered and informed the experiences of the end beneficiary. Whether this is a product, service or a project I believe true change can only be made when you are able to fully understand a situation. Therefore, consultation and community engagement have always been a core part of my work.
I'm a people person and enjoy meeting new people so can always fit into a new team or situation quickly. I have experience working for start-ups, design agencies and small charities as well as Universities and Public Sector organisations.
