My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Media & Communication at University San Raffaele in Milan and an MSc in Media, Communication & Development at London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Since completing my studies, I gained three years' experience at Mediacom London in the Response Department, starting as a Media Executive and leaving the company as a Senior Planner Buyer. My main responsibility was the implementation of direct marketing campaigns across multiple media platforms for a number of non-profit clients, focusing on social media and digital media channels.
I subsequently applied the knowledge acquired in the non-profit sector at Mediacom to Volunteer Management, securing employment in Dar Es Salaam with United Planet Tanzania. My main tasks were to develop and sell tailor-made itineraries within Tanzania for the Volunteer & Travel Program, book and liaise with hotels and local tour operators, handle new applications from future volunteers and lead relationship management with all International Partner Organizations.
Returning to London, I worked as Operations Executive at Travel the Unknown, where I was responsible for a broad range of tasks including dealing with clients across every stage of their trip, liaising with suppliers from a number of different countries, making flight bookings and managing invoices.
As I have always enjoyed a client-facing role, I moved into Sales and joined Audley Travel as a Country Specialist, planning and selling tailor-made itineraries to Tanzania. Despite the pandemic, I have quickly been promoted to Senior Country Specialist and have started selling Kenya and Italy in addition to Tanzania.
I possess an intense passion for travel. I have been travelling since I was two years old and I love to get a true understanding of the culture and history of the places I visit. I am truly comfortable talking to all types of people and I have developed excellent communication and organizational skills.
