I am a frontend developer with a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and some of it's framework including React and Angular. I have been a developer for over 7 years and have worked on a variety of projects from ecommerce websites, SaaS to B2B software for clients like Starbucks, Morrisons and Yorkshire Water.
As part of an agile development team, I have worked on projects with teams of various sizes as well as taken on projects as the sole frontend developer on the team, liaising with the UI designer, backend developer, QA tester, business analyst and project manager to deliver a quality software on time.
Working in an agile development team has given me the opportunity to be involved in projects right from the planning stages through to development and release into production, taking part in daily stand-ups, weekly refinement sessions, planning poker and retrospectives after every sprints.

On a daily basis I work on projects created in either reactjs or angular adding new features or fixing bugs, giving estimates, liaising with project managers, QA testers, UI designers and backend developers to convert client's specifications into working web apps. Taking part in the development cycle from planning to maintenance has helped improve my knowledge on web development.
The most recent project I worked on is https://www.morrisons.com/food-boxes/ created for Morrisons and the start of the year 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, to help provide affordable care packages initially to vulnerable people who cannot physically go to the shops. The website was created in 2 weeks by myself and a backend developer utilising the codebase from an old website and modifying it to meet the client's requirements. It has grown hugely and still growing as new features are added as and when required.
I have had the opportunity to work on some backend tasks in ASP.Net web Api, giving me understanding of how the api, business and data layers connect with each other to make up the backend architecture.
