I’m Cecilia, I'm a London based freelance senior designer with a specialisation in advertising and branding. I have additional experience across campaign, print, digital and social design. Currently, I am actively searching for a fresh opportunity to leverage my skills and contribute to a dynamic team.
In my experience as a freelancer, I have had the opportunity to contribute and oversee diverse campaigns, spanning both small and large scales. My work has encompassed various mediums, including print formats such as newspapers, in-store displays, cover wraps, and out-of-home advertisements, as well as digital platforms such as television, social media, display ads, and skins. My expertise also encompasses the creation of a distinct look and feel and the development of visual identities.
Additionally, I have been instrumental in the generation of key visuals, their conceptualisation, creation, and subsequent artworking. Additionally, my responsibilities have extended to the seamless rollout of digital assets, the production of branding materials, the preparation of print-ready artwork, the crafting of motion graphics, and the application of conceptual thinking to the creation of compelling pitches.
To further grow, I'm currently undergoing specialised courses to increase my level in AfterEffects, Figma and Adobe XD demonstrating my commitment to continuous upskilling and professional development.I graduated from Falmouth University in 2014 and my most recent contract has been at VMLY&R / The Pharm. Working for Boots, Boots Opticians, Soap and glory, Love Island Winter 2023 and No7. Prior to that, I've been in both the Advertising and Branding world on perm roles.
My last permeant role was as a Designer for Cheil Europe. I was split working as Lead Designer for NIVEA/NIVEA Men UK and a Designer for Samsung UK/Samsung Germany. My work was to create a visual style for NIVEA’s online presence and then produce content that spanned across their website, all social channels including reactive content, audience-based participation and adding a visual style to their e-commerce.
With Samsung – I worked alongside a Creative Director on both small and large campaigns, branding projects, digital promotions, printed collateral, AR instore project at Samsung KX site and on across their own Samsung TV Plus range. On their TVs, I've created three new channel identities. This consisted of bringing the brand to life from the initial logo creation, all the way to storyboarding the channel bumpers and ad slates.
I'm a social butterfly who thrives on the energy of the team around me. I’m told I’m fun and down to earth, calm in a crisis and people like that I change my hair colour depending on the time of year (it’s currently black, brown, gold and white). My role at Cheil consisted of working with the Head of Design on day to day work. I ran my own projects as well as being apart of team jobs. I took multiple projects from conceptual stage right until production. I had the ability to jump in whether at the beginning or the end with ease. Projects ranged from branding and visual identity, social media advertising, digital ads, printed booklets, event branding, OOH adverts and TV channel identities.

This role allowed me to work with creative teams and designers across multiple brands. I predominately worked on assets for The Olympic Channel. This included posters, adverts and I was tasked to rebrand the visual style in an evolutionary way. A way that would still be recognisable to the core brand values. This then resulted in mass production of creating various banners for all Olympic sports across both Winter and Summer sports.

I spent a year and a half in a corporate world working in the communications department. intu Properties own shopping centers up and down the country and I worked in their head office in central London. Projects varied from brochures, posters, flyers, event invitations, annual reports and such printed corporate collateral.
