I am a freelance medical writer with around 9 years of experience in the medical communications industry and a further 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical business intelligence. I am experienced in scientific team leadership and project management, and mentoring and supporting other writers. I have worked across a number of different types of accounts with pharmaceutical industry clients, including global publications, medical affairs and commercial projects. I am highly experienced in delivery of large and small meetings including symposia, webinars, advisory board meetings and standalone meetings, both face-to-face and virtually. I am also experienced at developing content for a large range of digital products.

My recent therapeutic area expertise includes: respiratory disease (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis), oncology/ haematology (prostate cancer and myelofibrosis), and inflammatory disorders (rheumatoid arthritis and rare diseases). I have also worked in psychiatry (ADHD), and gastrointestinal disorders (short bowel syndrome).

Over the last 2 years I have also developed extensive Microsoft PowerPoint training assets targeted to medical writers and run internal training sessions on the use of PowerPoint for writers and client services colleagues.
