Regional Acquisition Optimisation - Creative Strategist

Working with IG in this position required my existing skills of project management, creative expertise, digital marketing experience & establishing ways of working, to be applied at full throttle. With the company recently having adopted a regional marketing model this role was focused on creating creative efficiencies and develop creative strength whilst challenging compliance regularly. To achieve my objectives in this role I liaised with a global group of stake holders ranging from local marketing teams to central marketing teams to Design and Production teams. Some of my day to day tasks are described below:
- Regular Creative Audits -
As a first step in this position it was important to ascertain the elements that work for brand and those that work for acquisition layers. After having carrying out the audit, the internal insights gathered were infused into BAU creative briefing that took place quarterly. The Audit aimed to supply creatives that were fueled with insights and best practice to my regions - UK, APAC & Emerging Markets.
- Establishing Creative Testing Framework -
Any creative effort is only effective until it is being constantly tested against BAU, this called for me to set up various creative tests as part of monitoring performance, gather audience insights and educate local markets in the ways the creative landscape was changing along with monitoring what competition is doing. The extended objective here was to create a testing log with a series of tests run across different countries, which not only gave us an understanding of what works but also helped me replicate successful tests across different regions as part of BAU.
- Supporting the Onboarding Journey -
Another challenge of this role that I helped tackle was the onboarding journey from various sources onto the landing page. To create a seamless user experience I ensured landing pages were briefed in and aligned in line with the creatives that pushed traffic onto the web pages.

Being a Client Solutions Manager at Meta required a know how and expertise of using Facebook Ads Manager. Having spent over 5 years within digital marketing at that point across various different channels and handled spends of over £5m across multiple regions, I was able to integrate into this role successfully. But this role demanded experience of not just knowing the platform but focusing efforts across driving sales as well through my clients within the Financial Services vertical.
This role required mastering best practices of the platform and being able to persuade clients to see best in class opportunities their campaigns could utilize through Meta products.
Some of the specific day to day tasks I handled were:
- Setting up Brand Lift and Conversion Lift Studies -
These studies were a crucial part of measurement of effectiveness of Meta ads for clients. My task here was to ensure the campaigns had broad large audiences, met minimum creative thresholds and had sufficient budgets. Following these studies I monitored, analyzed results and presented the same to clientele.
- Best Practice implementation -
Led client relations with client partner to ensure Meta best practices were being applied across campaigns, testing, adoption of new products for - HSBC, Barclays, Lloyds & Halifax & Monzo Bank's.
- Client Support -
