Employed to manage a newly purchased site but redirected to lead a service turnaround. From 15.07.19 I supported the area manager, directors and local home managers with a variety of quality related tasks. I completed site audits for the area manager and supported the 3 x local homes with CQC inspections during this period. This involved area management, guidance and quality support.
From December 2019 I took over the home and have since successfully achieved a positive CQC inspection. The next stage is to take the home to full resident capacity and prepare for next CQC inspection.

I engage with external stakeholders and professionals to manage existing and new business and manage a complex service and site budget.
The service provides complex nursing care for individuals with varied diagnosis and disorder including early onset dementia, ABI, Huntington's Disease, learning disabilities and mental illness as well as varied physical nursing needs and mobility issues. Strong clinical and managerial leadership is required for this role.
The role requires varied knowledge of service CQC standards and vision for the development of future goals. A clear sustainability plan has been created for this service.

In August 2010 I took a new role of senior staff nurse in the newly built Delfryn Lodge. Delfryn Lodge is a brand new 24 bed female hospital. My role consisted of assisting in setting up a brand new service for the criteria of female psychiatric rehabilitation.
This role involved the directing and management of new staff members, the supervision and organisation of staff training and developmental learning on a day by day basis as shift leader, management of off duty training and annual leave, preparing and setting up the hospital clinic to company and legally bound policy standards and the setting up of medical and office equipment ready for all aspects of business needs including the preparation for new admissions and the implementation of care, risk management and safe guarding for our residents.
