I'm offering
I am a friendly, passionate freelance designer with a huge amount of creative flair - I love what I do! I've been freelancing for 7+ years now and consider myself as a valuable asset to any agency / studio as I am confident to tackle any brief thrown my way. I have a varied skill-set from design for online and offline, to UI / UX and art direction. My attention to detail is second to none.
I've always had a big passion for the print-side of graphic design (I love the smell of paper...), but I am able to work across both disciplines and believe print and digital should work hand-in-hand. Previous roles include working in fast-paced advertising agencies, in-house fashion retail, art direction and also user interface design.

My experience
2016 - 2017
job
Studio Manager / Senior Designer
JOULES CLOTHING LTD.
LEICESTERSHIRE MAY 2016 - APRIL 2017
I was responsible for the design of all offline marketing collateral and keeping it 'on brand' with Joules' colourful, British heritage.
I managed all jobs coming into the extremely busy studio and signed off work before it went to print. This included graphics across shows, retail, trade and direct. I worked closely alongside the digital team, illustrators and the product team to successfully produce catalogues, look books, acquisition pieces, adverts and retail POS.
There was a huge amount of responsibility in this in-house role and it was imperative that I was highly organised and managed my own time, as well as the team's. Being manager, I carried out regular one-to-one's with my team and completed 6 monthly reviews to improve their development.

SENIOR USER INTERFACE (UI) ARTIST
CODEMASTERS SOFTWARE LTD.
I became a senior User Interface Artist / Creative Graphic Designer and quickly started learning new skills and ways of working within a digital / UI environment. I had the pleasure of designing racing titles such as the Formula One series, Grid AutoSport and DiRT Rally games for Xbox, Playstation and PC.
Using the Adobe Creative Suite daily, I would concept ideas for screen layouts and set up grids to contribute to the overall style guides / rules for front end screens. My role also included animation, icon, logo and menu design. Once concepts were complete, I implemented my designs into the game. This involved working closely with programmers to make sure content successfully displayed and functioned in game, as it should. It should be clean, clear and intuitive.

Senior Designer
RAVE COMMUNICATIONS.
I worked within a team of 7, which included designers, artworkers and a creative director. Growing work for new pitches allowed me to work alongside the creative director as well as using his scamps to bring a concept to life.
Clients I worked for included: DHL, Cisco, Polaris, Victory Motor Cycles, South Birmingham College, Irwin & the Birmingham
Bull Ring Markets.
I was also given the role of temporary Studio Manager, where I was in charge of the workload, first point of contact with the Account Managers and in charge of all briefs into the studio.
