I worked in the structural core team and am responsible as the structural interface focal point for all Logistics technical issues, liaison with logistics and marine contractors, supported Logistics in design and review activities of sea fastenings and grillage. My daily tasks were participating in weekly logistic interface meetings, organising offshore design centre coordination meetings (New Delhi (ND), India & Houston (HO), USA), design review of ND/HO calculations and designs, preparing work instruction & design instructions.
Developed various design criteria for sea transport design and initiated and guided the team on numerous studies related to sea transportation analysis, lifting analysis and land transport analysis. I prepared various spreadsheets to support analysis work and detailed structural elements design.
Performed the specialised Lifting analysis to include equalising sling tension with the help of mathematical modelling. I have modelled the sling compensation system. Performed two-stage sea transportation analysis studies for various boundary conditions.
I assisted the Core Team and Area Teams to resolve technical issues. Prepared and maintained bespoke spreadsheets to manage sea fastening reactions, lift lug reactions, weigh reactions, and modulate weight COG tracker.
