3D PRINTING TECHNICIAN

In my role as 3D Printing Technician I am responsible for refurbishing 3D printers which are returned from the customer in the UK for the hobbyist printer manufacturer, Creality.
The type of repairs which I frequently encounter are motherboard replacements, hot-end repairs or replacements, flashing firmware onto the motherboard, mechanical adjustments of the bearings, cleaning the printers and I also change the nozzles and heat beds to return the machine to a 'new or nearly new' condition.
I oversee the day to day running of a workshop which includes housekeeping and scheduling work on 3D printers. I liaise with third parties to schedule work and keep inventory. Frequently I work in conjunction with engineers to meet the requirements of customers which include printing and design work.
Upon occasion I am tasked with assembling a printer for a customer. The printers come in kit form which my current company will build for a price.
I am very competent with slicer and CAD software.
