I have over 10 years experience in quality assurance, predominantly testing desktop and mobile applications, which I also have a wide knowledge of software development tools within these platforms.
Part of my experience which I have attained includes leading a team from early development through to store release; overseeing manual, automation and performance testing.
I have never shied away from the technicalities of product development as I feel that early integration is a component to writing good test cases. My model of best QA practices involve the ‘Shift Left Test’ approach, with a combination of running ‘Automated Smoke Test’ against Non-Functional tests. I have found that this combination has decreased the total amount of time spent on regression testing, and in return has supplied the time for exploratory and usability testing - fulfilling the ‘Test Pyramid’.

This was initially a one month contract which got extended for a total of 4 months.
During my time at Future Platforms I worked on a project whose client is a well established
British transport company, and in which I worked on their Train Apps. Working with a team of
dedicated Project Managers, Developers and Lead QA to produce and release a number of features upon request from the client.
● This was a manual test role in which I covered three feature developments on
iOS & Android.

company called 'Snoop Limited'. Working on their product which was an application that
suggested promotions based on their users shopping habits.
● This was a purely manual testing role which was a split between Frontend and Backend which covered feature, functional, UI and API testing.
● Over 3 sprints, a 6 week period; I designed and wrote up user-acceptance tests
and ran feature and full regression tests on iOS and Android mobile devices.
