I am a designer with many years experience and much interest and pride taken in my skills for typography, hierarchy, layout and my love for the use of a grid. I have worked in small independent graphic design studios and as a freelancer giving me an insight into collaboration and the entrepreneurial drive to work independently while developing briefs, structure and maintaining communication with clients directly.
Starting as a print designer I progressed onto working within a Service Design agency, as I wanted to improve my skills and broaden my understanding of the design sector. My eyes were opened to human-centered design and an understanding that my role as a graphic designer can help improve people’s lives.
Over these years I gained hands-on experience by taking on work and training in service design, user research and facilitation as well as continuing to develop my graphic design skills. As well as having a degree in visual communications I have a professional diploma in UX design.
