The MAS team are fundamental to Gamesys' CRM workflow processes. We coordinate and synergize every campaign received from our CRM, Conversions, Business Information Systems & Marketing Data departments.
My role entails working collaboratively & supporting these stakeholders to accomplish their goals.
I also manage additional tools used by the business including Adobe Dreamweaver, Movable ink, IMI mobile and Litmus.
General Responsibilities:
Mentoring and Training - Training colleagues so their competent using Adobe when setting up campaigns across all of our groups marketing channels (Email, SMS and push notification)) in both Campaign and Message Centre through workshops and campaign specific training documentation I produced.
Campaign Analytics - Reviewing Campaign performance using the OOTB reports and customised dashboards to reveal business critical data and trends
Innovation - Managing new opportunities and ascertaining efficiencies within the Adobe Campaign platform.
Strategy implementation - In line with the CRM team's personalisation & segmentation strategy; enhancing performance of Adobe Campaign through knowledge sharing and Implementation of best practices.
Workflow Optimisation - identifying and recommending how to optimise workflow and campaign set up to increase customer engagement
Crisis management - Investigating & troubleshooting any issues relating to Adobe campaign, Dreamweaver & Movable ink.
Technical Configuration
• Building and managing technical workflows; creating new and extending existing data schemas.
• Setting up & testing of newly purchased IPv4's in Adobe as well as the corresponding IP affinities, typologies and typology rules.
• Setting up & testing up the routing accounts for new email domains.
• Implementing system monitoring through alerts and customised Adobe dashboards
• Creating, managing and maintaining various areas within adobe such as predefined filters, personalisation blocks, workflow templates, delivery templates.
• Setting up the offer tool to prevent creative fatigue; creating offer environments, along with multiple offer typologies & offer categories
• Updating the configuration for existing Web Apps and OOTB Reports.
Master Email Template Management
• Creating, managing and maintaining the Master Email Templates in Dreamweaver for all 10 brands, this includes their set up, spam & render testing across all ISPs (using Litmus) and consistently updating where necessary.
IP Health and Email Deliverability
• Managing the IP health of all 40 IP's owned by Gamesys, Monitoring delivery rates, troubleshooting failed deliveries, looking into deliverability of campaigns using tools such as Google Postmaster and Return Path.
• Creating IP warming plans for new or "cold" IPs
• Creating & implementing campaign delivery strategies to improve the health of damaged IPs in order to maximise ROI e.g. Engagement filters
• Delisting IPs from blocks by ISPs such as Yahoo, Microsoft & Proofpoint/iCloud
• Monitoring error messages across all channels & implementing workarounds that the out of the box functionality of Adobe Campaign fails to cover.
• Championing and implementing Email deliverability best practices.
Google Analytics
• Responsible for the governance of Google analytics for Adobe Campaign users.
• Worked with external Adobe consultants to create a tool that automates the process of adding UTM tracking links to emails within Adobe; Trained CRM on the use of this tool and its roll out.
Key achievement(s):
- Awarded an extremely rare Outstanding rating in my last quarterly performance review.
- Pioneered the creation Dark mode friendly email templates
- Significantly improved both email & SMS Deliverability monitoring by setting up postmaster & SNDS accounts, also Implemented feedback loops in Adobe saving the company over £90,000/year in costs.
- Created the first ever personalised automated Weekly delivery reports for all Adobe users.
