I'm offering
WHO DO I WORK WITH? Construction Claims Specialists and Commercial Directors/Managers; and Small Business Owners.
WHAT MAKES ME UNIQUELY POSITIONED TO ASSIST YOU? I have extensive knowledge of the Construction Industry, and I love delving through progress reports, emails, photographs and contract documents to find the supporting evidence you need to make your claim.
RECENTLY COMPLETED PROJECTS? Below are brief details of 2 projects I have worked on, links to the full case studies are included.

Client - Construction Dispute Specialist representing a national building contractor working on a new build prison.
Background - A dispute had arisen following a post-contract failure of the Security System at a new build prison. The building contractor hired our client to pursue a claim against the security system sub-contractor following a serious onsite incident involving inmates.
How I Helped -
• I reviewed the Spec., Room Data Sheets, Drawings, Gap Analysis Reports produced by the Prison and System Test Reports and Surveys.
• Compiled a Scott Schedule of Equipment required at tender stage on a room by room basis, highlighting shortfalls in the information provided at the outset.
• Security System Drawing Take-Off, for each drawing revision, to highlight changes to the system, enabling changes to be traced back to the originator.
• Checking, formatting and proofreading of documents.
• My analysis identified a creeping increase in the number of cameras installed during the build, but the storage capacity didn’t increase.
CASE STUDY NO. 7 Link below
Client – International M&E Contractor, providing PPM to a National Supermarket chain.
Background – Dispute due to non-payment.
How I Helped –
• Provided part-time support for 9 months
• Created a Scott Schedule template to be used for each adjudication/claim
• Populated 9 Scott Schedules, compared physical evidence against items listed in the schedules, checked that the evidence in the Schedules was relevant and contained evidence of the initial call-out, engineers’ report sheets, store references and invoices for materials, plant and sub-contractors
• Corrected any discrepancies between the physical evidence and the Scott Schedules, advising the Client of any “gaps,” and updating the Scott Schedules and evidence files as needed
• Collated evidence for each adjudication and supervised a team of 5 people to produce 6 copies of the final evidence files (approx. 200,000 pages of evidence, filed in over 250 lever arch files with 25,000 hand-written card dividers).
