Working within Healthwatch Southend; providing advocacy support for local residents who wish to make a formal complaint about any NHS services. Supporting clients with letter writing, attending local resolution meetings and guiding them through the formal complaints process. Ensure record keeping is up to date and data entry is carried out in a timely fashion.
To take an active role in promoting the services offered by Healthwatch, educate local residents and professionals of the services offered by Healthwatch and also to identify gaps in local services and areas of concern in health and social care services.
