I was asked to be a guest lecturer at Leeds Beckett University for their Marketing Communication (2nd year) module and Sports Branding (3rd year) module. My lecture content included: developing an advertising brief, concept to creativity, storyboards, testing, costing, budgeting and evaluation methods. I showed how the TV commercial integrated into other forms of communications to form a fully cohesive, multi-channel campaign. Sports Branding was the second presentation I gave. This explored how the medium of TV can help to create a powerful brand identity and image. I showed how this central campaign pillar provides the foundation for a brand's voice. We explored how you go about researching and developing an organisation's brand values and beliefs and how these can become the key measures of any marketing campaign.
