I'm offering
I worked for The Independent, i and London Evening Standard newspapers for just under 17 years, starting off as a designer in marketing and circulation and ending up as part of an in-house special projects team, Story Studio. We designed the majority of in-paper supplements and worked closely with clients to achieve what they and us felt proud to go into the paper. The last project I worked on was a 48-page Future London booklet that was an information and stats rundown of the last 2 years of the Future London project. We worked with Uber and Midtown amongst others, to work at making London a better, cleaner place to live.
I've since started my own company, creative75, to get some freelance work and create some personal achievements in the run up to getting something a bit more permanent. I've worked on a rebrand for a local sports injury clinic and on an interactive used tech UK map for giff gaff.

creative 75.
I was made redundant at the end of September 2020, I made the decision to start my own design company, creative75, to do
some freelance work and bridge the gap between getting something a bit more permanent. So far, I've worked on a re-brand for a
local sports injury and massage company, Elite Injuries, helped design an interactive map for Giff Gaff, designed a new book cover for my
father, who's a part-time author and worked on some marketing material for Mawney Partners, a London-based financial search firm.
I love having a bit more artistic licence and being able to have a one to one with the client is great, as I didn't get to do that in my last job.
I feel as if I can take a bit more time over things now and talk through my thoughts on colours and feel of the artwork.
For me, it's been a bit of a restart for my career and I'm enjoying work again.

Graphic designer
ESI.
My previous role was as a designer for the Story Studio team at the London Evening Standard/ESI Media. My day to day work involved designing pages and advertorials, creating The Agenda, a four-page bi-monthly showcase for Westfield, concentrating on new fashion, food, beauty, luxury lifestyle and entertainment. I’ve also had the privilege to work on some great looking supplements over the years for Propercorn, Virgin Holidays, Visit Wales, a variety of in-house travel guides and Great Days Out, and half term guide for parents, to name a few. I also work on advertorials for Hiscox, Southeastern Railway, The Irish Tourist Board, Specsavers and Oxford Street. I helped the sales team with mock ups as well for pitches for clients such as Weflip, The Royal Mail and Airbnb.

Independent Print & Media..
Activation was a small team of artworkers, designers, editors and picture researchers, put together for the sole purpose of designing our newspaper supplements, promotional emails, booklets, advertising promotions, and any other in-house design work. We worked closely with Marketing and Circulation, Advertising, Sales and Online departments in integrating all our work to ensure it was branded correctly and is of a high standard. I was fortunate enough to be able to work on the launch of The i newspaper, which for its time, was a groundbreaking publication.
