I have over 19 years of SEO experience from global brands to startups. My most recent assignment involved writing the Best Practice SEO handbook to be translated and distributed to Wella haircare’s international international teams.
Because Google is an algorithm, I use data science to understand the search intent and find quick wins. I also have full end to end experience of the SEO process from keyword research to generating high authority backlinks including premium publishers such as The Guardian and Huffington Post.
For example, I helped ON24 achieve 3 times higher rankings and +161% non brand organic traffic above benchmark. Boundless also achieved 600x more (again above benchmark) organic traffic per month in 6 months. Very recently, I’ve been given a contract by an international publisher for my ‘Data Driven SEO’ book.

• The Crocodile: Marketing Data Scientist I lead and deliver data science projects for Philip Morris International (trend analysis of retailer experience data) and ON24, including Salesforce CRM segmentation, Google Big Query and Data studio set up and automation, content attribution modelling.
• Kapeesh: Data Scientist I modelled the effect of Google Ads, Organic Search and Shopping on click through rates (CTR) using Python for Next plc and other major online retailers. I designed the data study, determined the data structures, modelling techniques
• PhD UK: Acting Head of Data and MarTech worked in the data science team promoting the Attribution Modelling and Audience Analytics products among internal client teams. I used SQL and machine learning in AWS to join and query data for segmentation and profiling. I re-engineered the method for TV and Radio audience attribution using segmented correlations. I built a prototype of the 'Rhythms' app which extracts data from Google Trends, weather for data visualisation in Python.
• Grayling PR: Performed sentiment analysis processes for their clients using Python and TidyText for the purpose of online reputation measurement.
• Havas Ecselis: Applied machine learning to assist with Pagespeed analysis and search intent modelling using R, AWR Cloud, Screaming Frog, Google Pagespeeds API.
• Harvest Digital: Applied machine learning tools to show SEO revenue opportunities using PPC data, attribution modelling, media buying using Google Analytics. I also modelled and forecasted the optimal media budget mix according to channel inventory and Cost Per Acquisition (CPA). This was applied to Waitrose, Cruises.co.uk, Egencia, and Premier Bathrooms.
